The soft-touch cover feels way nicer than I expected for a score pad, and the 5.5 x 8.5 size fits perfectly next to the game box. I've been using the back pages to doodle my Doomlings between rounds and there's plenty of room.
The wire-o binding lies completely flat, which makes tallying scores mid-game so much easier than fighting a spine that keeps snapping shut. I've also been doodling little Doomlings in the margins and the 5.5 x 8.5 pages give me just enough room without wasting space.
